There are solid reasons why Google has decided to buy reCAPTCHA although it’s quite common these days that increasingly popular sites are bought by the big boys on the Internet. Social media, in general, is growing very fast and people are attracted to them like never. Internet fraud and spam is also similarly growing as many have started surfing the net quite recently and before they got used to emails and the so-called private arena.

I don’t know about Google, but both Microsoft and Yahoo are very excited to make this deal! Microsoft will empower Yahoo’s search as it couldn’t buy Yahoo’s search engine. Although this was originally the intention of Microsoft, the deal didn’t turn out to be a buy-and-sell deal. It’s about a 10-year contract to grant Microsoft an exclusive license to Yahoo’s core search technologies.
