Google Bombing:

It refers to a method that used to be possible to apply for some time, but was stopped due to misuse. According to this method, when a large number of sites published backlinks targeting one keyword in the link text, that particular link receiving page came up in the Google result page for it.

Google Bot:

This is the name attributed to the to Google spider that crawls across the web to find new or updated pages.

Google Dance:

It refers to the changes occurring in the results Google index when it updates the results. This is done from time to time. As a result, some webpages that usually showed up for a certain keyword are not seen and vise versa. Then, the previous results come back to their original position. As the time passes by, the frequency of Google dance increases and the intervals between the tow instances of such dance shortens.

Google Bot:

It is the crawler that Google uses on a continuous basis to find the pages recently created or updated. Then, it updates Google’s index to show up more recent results.

Heading:

It is like less important titles appearing like bolded titles among the paragraphs of a page. In the HTML code, they are of importance when designated certain codes like h1, h2, h3, etc. It tells search engines what the next significant sub-topic is. SEO experts recommend to use keywords at these sections. Some believe that only 6 heading are considered in a page, some regard the first 3 ones important and some think of the first heading as the vital one.

Hidden Links:

The use of links in a way that they cannot be seen is called hidden links. This can be practiced by writing a text link in a page with the same color of its background. Obviously, this is not a legitimate practice.

Inbound Links:

They are the links coming from outside your site that point to certain pages of your site. They may be called “backward links”, “incoming links”, etc. They play an important role in increasing your link popularity and search engine rankings specially if your keywords are used in their text or alt tags.

Indexation:

The act and result of indexing your webpages in a search engine. The more pages you create at your site, the more indexation you will have. The large number of a site’s indexation indicates the size of the site, which matters in its ranking with search engines.

Indexability:

The quality of being spidered and indexed by a search engine is called indexability. Having such a quality allows search engines to record more pages of a site, which helps a site ranking while the lack of it will lead to its position in SERPs (search engine result pages).

Internal Links:

They are the links leading site visitors and search engines to the other pages of the same site. Having a large meaningful number of internal links is a very good practice to enhance a site/blog’s internal linking structure.
