Every web copywriter should have a “toolkit.” By toolkit, I mean books that you read, reread, and read again. A collection of “cheat sheets” filled with “ticklers” of information you’ve gleaned over the years to remind you of tricks you can use to achieve yours or your client’s website goals. And a file of great website copywriting you’ve found on websites.
You can find plenty of mediocre websites filled with copy written either by someone’s receptionist or some marketing person who has little writing skill or by a business owner too cheap to hire a professional to write their copy. Ignore them.

Planning on how to run a Twitter marketing campaign requires, first, the assumption that you want to run a successful Twitter marketing campaign. You do NOT want to be viewed as a spammer or as an annoying pest.
Thus you must plan a marketing campaign that actually does little selling and more connecting. Why? Because this “laid-back” strategy on Twitter is more likely to get you loyal followers interested in what you have to offer.

Famous architect Mies van der Rohe was quoted to have said, “God is in the details.” What he meant by that comment is that you can create a beautiful building design but it’s the details that make it special.
This is also true in website copywriting. While you may write a great page of copy or blog post or online article, it’s the image details that make it special. More importantly, the details also increase your readership and conversion rate.

If you have a legitimate non-profit cause for which you wish to know how to raise funds without spending money on advertising, Twitter can provide a relatively easy fundraising project for you. Here’s why this is so:
* You have a worthwhile cause – let’s say you want to help a children’s cancer research fund raise money.
* The format of Twitter makes it easy for you to tweet about this fundraising drive and include a link to an article about what the funds can help accomplish.
* If you have a decent amount of followers, there are bound to be several followers who will retweet this information because these followers also believe in your cause.
* As you are not self-promoting but rather promoting for a good cause, you can repeat your tweet more times without annoying your followers.

Testimonials have been around since the first caveman sold a hunk of meat to his neighbor. “Grok say best meat in town!” However, effectively using testimonials is as rare as today as it was then.
People don’t trust testimonials. Especially on the Internet. Why? Because “Internet Marketers” have pummeled visitors with a huge number of testimonials from “Jim in Des Moines” or “Carol in Los Angeles”.
Namely, incredibly glowing testimonials from non-descript “people.” The Internet Marketers have gotten smarter. They now include the full name and city and a face. They even include video testimonials.

Your brand – what you are known for – is something that you should definitely want to protect. You’ve probably worked very hard to establish this brand, and you do not want people tarnishing that brand.
Can you prevent people from complaining about your products or services? No. But you can make sure that the moment someone does complain publicly on Twitter, for example, you are brand monitoring and you then nip the problem in the bud.

Before you try to sell something to someone, it’s better to get them to agree with you on something. Once you’ve done that, once you’ve created a level playing field where you’ve established a relationship with someone, then it’s much easier to sell them something.
Emotion is a great way to create a bond or relationship with your reader. You’ve all heard the saying, “the enemy of my enemy is my friend”. This is an age old saying dating back to the barbaric times when the judgment of a friend was simply based on whether or not you had a common enemy.
